An 18th-century bluestocking was a woman who chose books over small talk. This piece is built from her library.
Torn dictionary pages, antique sheet music, old ledger columns, fragments of handwritten letters in spidery brown ink — all layered together and washed in indigo and cobalt blue. Cream and warm paper tones ground the cool palette. The hand-torn deckled edges stay deliberately raw. Sealed with a satin finish that holds the dimension without flattening it.
It's quiet. It's literary. It belongs somewhere that earns the silence — a writing desk, a music room, the wall above the chair where the good books live.
