Dregs — Foraged Palm & Corn Husk Mixed Media on Canvas

Dregs is a one-of-a-kind mixed media piece built on canvas from the bones of things most people throw away. Foraged palm tree fragments — bark, sheath, fiber — collected and dried, layered alongside hand-torn corn husk paper, scorched canvas, oxidized blues, and rust-toned pigments. Nothing here is pristine. Nothing here is supposed to be.

This is the residue. The leftover. The part of the story that doesn't get framed in soft light and called pretty. It's the dregs — and that's the point. What survives the burn is usually the most interesting thing in the room.

Built with intention and zero filters. The texture is real, the imperfections are real, and the materials carry the marks of where they came from.
